by Damozel | The conservative British paper, The Telegraph, reports:
At least one picture shows an American soldier apparently raping a female prisoner while another is said to show a male translator raping a male detainee.
Further photographs are said to depict sexual assaults on prisoners with objects including a truncheon, wire and a phosphorescent tube.
Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba, who investigated torture at Abu Ghraib, confirmed this. (The Telegraph) The Telegraph posted some of the photographs that Obama is trying to censor here.
In fact, as Larisa Alexandrovna points out, Salon posted a number of such photographs in 2006. "If there are photos worse than the ones we have seen already, then God help us," she says. Amen. Three of them are posted in her blog. She writes:
The images are incredibly graphic. I am only posting three because I cannot stand to look through more of them to find the others. I had actually seen these several years back when I was contacted to do a story. I flew to the meeting. I sat through the meeting. I looked at the photos. I excused myself and went out the front door and vomited all over myself. I knew I did not have the strength to write this story. So I hope no one thinks, not even for a moment, that I am in any way taking the posting of these photos lightly. They are horrific. But they are the truth and they must be seen.
Again, be certain you are ready for this....(At-Largely)
Taguba agrees. It's one reason he supported Obama's decision not to release the photographs. He told The Telegraph:
“The mere description of these pictures is horrendous enough, take my word for it.”(The Telegraph)
This turns out to be the case. See also The Raw Story.

It is indeed extremely shocking to know that our soldiers actually torture the female prisoners. Such indecencies and tortures needs to be addressed immediately. :O
