On Larry King Live Jesse Ventura takes on the Bush administration chickenhawks and Rush Limbaugh, and defends Colin Powell. After being waterboarded himself in the SERE program, Ventura makes no bones about it. Waterboarding is torture. I'd like to see Hannity have Ventura on his show to debate the issue.

Ventura says he'd prosecute everyone who was involved in torture, right down the line.  He also points out that if waterboarding isn't done correctly, the recipient could actually drown. 

Finally, he defends Colin Powell against chickenhawk Cheney and calls for legalization of drugs!  Are we more offended by drugs or murder?  he asks.  Awesome.

Yes, I’m military (about to be former military on 01JUN09, thank God) and I’m happy to say, unlike former Minnesota Governor, Jessie “The Body” Ventura, I’ve never been waterboarded. I’m even happier to say I’ve never been forced by my chain of command to waterboard anybody, including my fellow troops and/or possible terror suspects located, just for an example, in Guantanamo Bay or even in Afghanistan for that matter....

I wrote not top long ago about the whole concept of torture and its (ahem… ZERO) value to anybody as a reliable way of gaining important and TRUTHFUL information from a suspect. Like “The Body” says to Larry King (paraphrased, just like all recounts above have been): “Give me a waterboard, one hour and (in)famous deceased serial killer and former paid G.O.P. staffer Ted Bundy and I’ll have him confessing he is a Liberal who respects prostitutes and enjoys their great company.”

I watched Gov. Ventura on Larry King the other night. I'm not a pro- wrestling fan but in one minute Gov. Ventura put a three count pin on politicians, the absence of separation of Church and State, the need for a third party and their ignoring the constitution that they claim they are defending. I have tried to get an e-mail address for the governor to elaborate on the logic and basic principles that he set out. Perhaps you can help me with it.Gov. Ventura should be on Pres.
