North Korea's Missile Launch a (sort of) Failure

 by Deb Cupples | Over the weekend, North Korea launched a missile, apparently meant to put a  satellite into orbit, which ended up falling into the sea.  In advance, the North Korean government boasted to the media about the coming missile launch.

Via Memorandum, the New York Times tells us that President Obama is using the North Korean missile launch as an opportunity to focus on nuclear disarmament talks.

Some people think the North Korean's experiment was a failure.  Others think that scientists tend to learn from mistakes and mishaps.  We'll see.
