by Damozel | Reality: it's so subjective.  Unfortunately, those of us whose livelihood depends upon the ability of others to employ us are not in a position to practice the patience or put on the optimistic face the President is requesting.

Not that I don't agree that drastic measures are required:  not being a Republican, I'm not completely out of touch with reality or lacking in objectivity. But Mr Bipartisan is in grave danger of falling between two stools, being neither bold enough to give us a big enough stimulus package to actually work nor clueless enough to believe that we can do without one.  Further to this point:  what Bill Kavanagh says here.

And on a slightly different note, check out this cartoon (courtesy of Wall Street Jackass).  It illustrates something I've always said:  corporate America is basically a pyramid scheme.  And therein lies the rub.
