TwinCities.com reports:
"Houston is where the first of two lawsuits was filed alleging Nasser Kazeminy, a Bloomington financier, tried to steer $100,000 to Coleman via his wife's Minneapolis employer. The second suit, filed in Delaware, alleges Kazeminy initially tried to get money directly to the senator.
How interesting. Norm Coleman is still battling for his U.S. Senate seat against Al Franken in an election recount that has had numerous twists and turns.
On December 5, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported that 133 ballots were simply missing. That same day, Politico estimated that Franken had a 4-vote lead.
Memeorandum has commentary.
To be fair, it wasn't Politico that reported Franken had a 4-vote lead. It was Franken, as reported by Politico, that claimed to have a 4-vote lead.
