It's not your fault, of course - plenty of outlets have looked at the rounded percentages and made the same mistake.

The interesting (?) thing is that if you flip about 3,500 votes, then the ROUNDED numbers suddenly move to 54-46, and a ton of people would be erroneously reporting this as an 8% win in stead of a 9% win, and it would be the opposite side complaining about media bias. It's not bias, it's just lazy math.

Admittedly, I didn't do any math until you and another commenter pointed out the discrepancies. I had just relied on C-SPAN's percentages (it was 2:30 in the am).

But I'm happy to correct it!
