by D. Cupples | After watching Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright speak last week, I Googled her and came across a Daily Show interview from February, in which Jon Stewart asks Albright about Hillary Clinton's experience. Albright is not on Hillary's campaign but does support her.
Most crucial to Albright is Hillary's experience on the Senate Armed Services Committee, Hillary's numerous trips to other nations, and her knowledge of the Iraq war and U.S. veterans. Stewart asks the question about a minute and a half into it the video clip.
Again, what is her experience? the Rose law firm, keeping the Ark gov mansion or white house clean? I dont get it

Hey RawDawg!
Actually, before Hillary got private legal experience, she spent her first 6 or 7 years out of law school in public service.
She's been a U.S. senator for 7 years (which goes to her experience on the Armed Services committee). And she's known for having mended bridges with Republicans to get some things done.
I covered her background and some of her voting record here:
http://bucknakedpolitics.typepad.com/buck_naked_politics/2008/03/clinton-positiv.html
While First Lady, she did actively try to bring health care to us ordinary folk -- at a time when the political climate was completely against it. She likely learned a lot from the ordeals.
I DON'T think she actually faced gunfire, but she did travel to more than 75 countries and deal with heads of state. Along with her husband and the State Department people, Hillary was PART of giving our country a good name worldwide (something Bush totally messed up).
That's pretty important stuff, given that we're at war in 2 countries in the mid-east, one is unstable, and Bush wants to start war with a third. That and we'll need help from other countries with these situations.
Military experts agree that there is NO military solution to our Mid-East problems, which means that diplomacy will be a major factor.
Hillary has experience with that -- not only from her smaller participatory role, but also from having had a front-row view while her husband was in the White House.
As for Albright's reasons, they're in the video.
How are you, btw?

THERE IS A SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING NOT JUST THE MIDDLE EAST/HILLARY REPRESENTED US IN 75
COUNTRIES LEAVING GREAT RESPECT FOR HER KNOWLEDGE/SHE KNOWS HOW TO REPAIR BRIDGES
BETWEEN OPPOSITE PARTIES PLUS HOW TO BUILD
THEM/EXPERIENCE MATTERS WHEN YOU ARE CARING
THE US ON YOUR SHOULDERS. WANTING TO BE PRESIDENT AND HAVING THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ARE TOTALLY 2 DIFFERENT THINGS.
