Posted by The Crux | Given the Constitution's First Amendment, I don't mind that Fox Not-news chooses to bombard audiences with opinions that are actually unrelated to reality. What I do mind is that Fox markets itself as an actual news outlet.
Apparently, Fox isn't content with obliterating truth or facts via TV and radio. Now, it has taken to quietly editing entries to at Wikipedia (the online encyclopedia that allows readers to edit content) to make Fox (FNC) look better.
This was discovered through a simple computer search. Crooks and Liars reported:
"For example, embarrassing content from Media Matters about FNC personalities was quietly removed. Criticism of Keith Olbermann and Al Franken was accentuated. The network that specializes in on-air propaganda had taken its usual schtick to Wiki pages.
"With that in mind, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Fox [Not] News’ Chris Wallace — you guessed it — sought to undermine Wikipedia’s credibility with a report tonight. The irony is rich."
You gotta give Fox credit for tenacity. Scientists have proven that you can't polish turds, and yet Fox Not-news doggedly continues to try.
