I just wanted to thank you for checking out the new eMomsatHome site and to let you know that all the links are working again. After I posted my Thursday Thirteen, Wendy launched the new home page and thus the links got messed up. We're good to go now!

Thanks for a most interesting and enlightening, no to mention informative, site, Bucknaked Politics and Damozel!
As a Canadian observer, I feel it would
be the epitome of foolishness for "Precious Obama" [as Lou Dobbs called him!] to get the nomination. His anorexic resume and cluelessness re foreign policy issues would render Him an even more catastrophic president than George W. And McCain would devour Obambi inevitably!
Hillary's UNIVERSAL health care is similar to the very successful Canadian national plan since 1965--and we enjoy comprehensive care for ALL Canadians, regarless of income. Don't listen to negative media. We choose our specialists, do not have to pay for medical care. And Women's Equality Rights are entrenched in our Constitution since 1982!..unlike still struggling ERA...
WE ALL REMEMBER HILLARY CLINTON BRAVELY CHALLENGING THE CHINESE AT THE UN CONFERENCE IN 1995: "Women's Rights are HUMAN RIGHTS." She is the most competent, qualified and COMPASSIONATE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE...
I recall in 1971, John Lennon's most popular Song: "WOMAN IS THE NEGRO OF THE WORLD"...You know, Damozel, I think SNL's Tina Fey must know the lyrics.....
Good Luck from CANADA
Mary
P.S....and I hope not to see too many American applications for Immigration to Canada next year.....if Obambi [Zeus forbid!] wins...

Damozel,
You made the same mistake that I did regarding Novak. However, I can't help wondering if he paid off the hospital for fear of being discovered in a sociopathic act without a medical alibi.

You had me going with the South Carolina mill town thing - so I click on the link - and damn if Lancaster SC doesn't pop up!
I lived there for about 5 years in the early seventies - we lived in Emerald Estates, or something like that, a half completed subdivision at the time that was a few miles outside of the Bypass on hwy 9 or something like that.
Is this a small world or what?
I live in Atlanta now - doing the blog thing too - come check me out at http://simplifythepositive.com (don't ask) that is named "Brown Man Thinking Hard". Got a 5 part series this week.
Anyway, I didn't really think of Lancaster as a mill town. My mom was a third grade teacher at a school downtown somewhere - no idea what the name was - the only thing I really remember was the ice cream place and the public pool.
Nice blog you've got here. Will link it up - mine is 99% political.

You brought back memories! I STILL have a crush on my first babysitter - or at least my memory of her.
