Jon Stewart Says Good-Bye to Romney in Words of One Syllable

"Who was Mitt Romney?" asks Jon Stewart.  "A cipher...devoid of principle...A salt and pepper man-shaped polymer casing for a spiritual vacuum." Fortunately,  "Mitt Romney loves America so much that he could not and would not subject it to a Mitt Romney presidency."

After listening to him equate an Obama or Clinton win with a surrender to terrorism, Jon says a very special farewell.

Here's Silent Patriot at Crooks and Liars to administer the final much needed kick to Romney's backside:

I’ll admit: up until today I had a  modicum of sympathy for Willard “Mitt” Romney. He went from the debonair moderate, pro-choice, pro-gun control, anti-Reagan Republican Governor from the bluest state in the union to a pandering, principle-less xenophobe that would say anything and do anything to become President. A classically tragic figure. But all the good will and pity I had for Mittens quickly evaporated today after his shameful, divisive and fear-mongering speech at CPAC. Are you really not above equating a Democratic victory with “surrender to The Terrorists“?... The real tragedy is not that the man sold his soul to appeal to the lunatic fringe; it’s that he dropped $35 million of his own cash in the process.  (Crooks and Liars)

But you know what they say:  life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think.
